Furniture sales rise after comparison site deal

FURNITURE and home accessories retailer Our World of Interiors is using ChannelAdvisor’s Comparison Shopping Engine (CSE) to boost its online sales.

The Nottingham-based retailer has moved into the arena of comparison shopping engines in order to drive traffic to its site, as well as enhancing sales and brand awareness.

It is the first time the retailer has entered this channel, and as a result consumers can now find it products listed on high profile search results compiled by Google, NexTag, Pricerunner, Shopzilla and Shopping.com.

The product also enables ecommerce merchants to manage their feeds, optimise data and view performance reports from a single channel.

Our World took the decision to use ChannelAdvisor’s Launch Plus service offering, as it made the process of entering multiple comparison sites faster and easier.

The decision appears to be a good was a good one, as just one month after it started using the new system it has seen a significant rise in sales, the company reports.

“Between ChannelAdvisor’s user-friendly interface and the efforts of the launch team, we were able to expand to comparison shopping engines quickly and seamlessly,” commented Adnan Afzal, Our World of Interiors’ director.

ChannelAdvisor says its solutions helps stores such as Our World of Interiors “have unparalleled visibility and control of its e-commerce efforts”.

Other UK companies which use ChannelAdvisor include B&Q, Ann Summers, House of Fraser and New Look.
