How does it work?
When a customer visits a website which is personalised by Peerius a cookie is placed on their terminal and a user id is created. Against this user id, Peerius monitors their click stream behaviour, performs statistical analyses in the background to create behavioural clusters and product attribute clusters, to which the individual can be matched.
This means that even with a small amount of data Peerius can personalise the content presented to the customer, the product suggestions, and even the navigation. The more the visitor interacts the more the system can personalise the experience, as it is a real time process. This is all powered by a single line of java script on the webpage.
Take me step-by-step through how I buy and install it
Once commercial terms are agreed with a business development manager, the customer installs the single line of java script on their website and provides us with a product feed. Once we have these things in place we begin tracking behaviour on our site, as a basis for our statistical understanding as to what is going on.
After this the client services team, our merchandising strategy team, and the customer meet to understand the objectives the client has for the website, and what strategies they have in place. Our development team then optimises our technical solutions so they perform optimally in line with the company’s current objectives.
What do I need to do once it is set up?
Once it is set up you have full control of the software and what it does. However you also have access to our extensive client services team through a dedicated account manager. In addition, the team will constantly monitor the site and its performance and have quarterly reviews where these results are presented and further recommendations are made.
