Retailers in a spin with 360 degree photography

ONLINE imaging company SpinMe has announced it has doubled its retail users in the past year and predicts continued strong growth.

The company provides businesses with the opportunity to show 360 degree images of their products, helping customer to choose by providing a fuller view.

SpinMe has successfully signed up retailers such as Dixons, Wiggle and Schuh with its offering, which includes specialist software and hardware, in-house studio space, an off-site studio set-up and training in the use of its products and services.

Online sports retailer Wiggle announced in February that it planned to roll out 360 degree spin imaging across its entire product range, after seeing a significant increase in sales of items featured by the product.

As a result of the positive response by retailers, the company has tripled its staff numbers over the last 12 months.

Also it is currently building in-house photographic studios for retail clients in Australia, South America, the Far East and Europe.

“Retailers’ use of specialist imagery is on the rise, giving the customer complete control of viewing a product from every angle and zooming in on fine detail increases satisfaction and reduces returns,” said David Brint, marketing director at SpinMe.

“As a result, SpinMe is growing at a rapid pace and we are also on course to triple our turnover this financial year.”
