Enterprise resource planning (ERP) might not be one of the catchiest phrases around, but it is part of the thinking behind seamless online retail. EsellerPro tells us about its offering and how it could help your business
Please tell me about your business
eSellerPro was launched by Sandbourne Systems Ltd in 2006. It is the first complete ecommerce Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) solution that integrate online retailers’ entire online sales process, simplifying and automating tasks such as inventory management, product listing and scheduling, sales order processing, payment and dispatch, customer communications and accounts posting.
With eSellerPro retailers can seamlessly scale up their operations, saving valuable time and resources and maximising sales opportunities across multiple channels and seller IDs.
Who is the product aimed at?
eSellerPro targets all merchants looking to sell their products on online marketplaces, such as eBay, Amazon and Tesco, as well as sellers looking to integrate their inventory to websites, whether this is third party sites, or eSellerPro designs. Essentially eSellerPro is aimed at online retailers who sell across a variety of different online platforms, helping to simplify and integrate operations.
What are the benefits of using it to an ecommerce business?
eSellerPro enables online retailers to sell more, more efficiently and across more channels. As a complete ecommerce ERP solution, eSellerPro integrates with retailer’s entire online sales process, automating tasks and removing the man hours associated with the customer order cycle, enabling staff to concentrate on what really matters – building the business.
By using eSellerPro, retailers can easily plug into all online marketplaces, reaching more customers, at no extra cost. The solution can also be tailored to meet each individual seller’s needs, while stock levels can be managed automatically, removing human error, preventing overselling and safeguarding the retailers reputation for the future.
How much does it cost?
As a Software-as-a-Service business, eSellerpro charges a one-off set-up fee for implementation of the system. After that customers can expect a monthly charge, based on a pre-agreed percentage of sales processed through the system.
Take me step-by-step through how I buy and install it
In the first instance you will discuss your individual requirements with one of our business development managers. Then, if it’s appropriate, our new business team will give you a demonstration of the software.
The second phase is to agree the scope of work and get a contract in place. We would then spend up to 45 hours one-to-one with your team ensuring they were supported through implementation and set-up, specifically helping with activities such as setting up the inventory, listing templates, postage templates and setting up couriers and sales orders.
What do I need to do once it is set up?
The software is essentially a tool to help facilitate your online selling capabilities. That means it can produce daily warehouse pick / pack details, integrate with couriers and even support eBay store design and messaging. So the answer really depends on how much self-service you want to do.
We support both self-service and fully managed service approaches. For fully managed service clients, whilst we own the majority of the work, we require input from your business for any optimisation projects you may want to prioritise. We also require a weekly call to discuss roadmap and live project updates and quarterly onsite business reviews to present back results.
Is there anything else I should know?
Only that each new eSellerPro account is provided with a named account manager to help with business strategy – we believe it’s important to have access to live support. We also provide access to our customer Wiki which is designed to answer many of the questions new customers have. Plus, we offer a free online training programme for new starters, those looking for a refresher, or customers that are looking to enter new marketplaces.
