Here are few tips to get those seasonal buyers to come back not once, but twice and hopefully many times to come.
1. Keep track of their details
A new customer has come to your online shop. Do you keep track of their details? In fact, every seller should keep a database of their customers buying from them.
This is a great way to engage with your customers and keep track of their preferences. Customers like to know that they are being catered to.
2. Under promise and over deliver
If you can’t make your delivery times, make sure your contact the customer immediately and inform them of any delays. This will win you credibility from customers who need to be reassured their packages will be coming on time. Give them an option to cancel if need be.
3. A thank you is free
Keep it personal and thank them for buying an item for your shop. If you would like offer them offer them a promotion, such as 20% discount on their next purchase. And ask them for feedback. Getting to know your customers personally can end up being the most valuable data that you can gather.
If you follow these tips, you’re guaranteed to get those first time customers coming back. A personal touch counts.
