Online retail experts and ecommerce leaders will congregate in London next month to celebrate the best of the world’s top technology and retail brands at the Internet Retailing Awards 2013, sponsored by Venda.
Short-listed for prizes are etail greats including ASOS, Amazon, Apple, Aurora, Burberry, Debenhams, Dixons, Ebay marketplace, H&M, House of Fraser, John Lewis, Made.com, Marks and Spencer, Net-a-Porter/Mr Porter, Topshop, Screwfix, and Wiggle.
Sponsored by Venda, the Internet Retailing Awards will take place on Thursday 26th June 2013 at SUSHISAMBA in Central London and will celebrate the masters of the multichannel world and award their success in the sector.
Mark Pigou, Publisher of Internet Retailing Magazine, said:
“With online businesses growing 57 times faster than the UK economy, there is no doubt that internet retail is thriving. The judges and I are looking forward to publically commending some of the most inspirational initiatives of the year.
“The shortlisted retail brands have dared to be different and the brilliant people in our industry have had the vision to take brave decisions to drive their online businesses forward,” he added.
Gongs to handed out on the night include the Innovation Award, sponsored by PayLater, celebrating companies that have developed the most inventive retail solutions online.
Also included in the eight categories is the Omni Award, sponsored by Portaltech Reply, which congratulates businesses that deliver great customer experiences across all devices and sales channels.
Meanwhile, the IRIS Award will go to the retailer whose mobile activities extend beyond an obligatory app and tablet-optimised site to creating an integrated, coherent and compelling experience under their brand. Shortlisted retailers are Apple, Burberry, Dixons and M&S.

About the Internet Retailing Awards
Beyond the channel focus of eCommerce alone, beyond the shores of the UK, our Awards take into account the multichannel, multinational, multi-faceted achievements of retailers who’re connecting most successfully with the digital customer.
The Awards span the gamut of Internet Retailing activities, are judged by an international panel of highly-experienced commercial leaders, backed by independent research to aid decision-making, and are topped by the discretionary blue riband – the Judges’ Award.
